Meet Sabrina Walker, Marketing Programs Specialist

In an effort to bolster marketing programs and philanthropic campaigns on behalf of our flagship litter brand, World’s Best Cat Litter™, Kent Pet Group is excited to welcome Sabrina Walker into the mix as the Marketing Programs Specialist.

In her new role as part of the KPG marketing team, Sabrina will be in charge of growing the brand’s GiveLitter™ campaign — which is an active, ongoing effort that helps support shelter cats and promote adoption.

The initiative, which was launched in 2010, encourages customers to help get the word out about animal welfare issues, as well as promote pet adoption, and help donate free cat litter to shelter partners spread all throughout the U.S. The program achieved a major milestone in December 2020 after donating the ONE-MILLIONTH POUND of litter to hardworking shelters in need. Read all about this great achievement here.

In her new position, Sabrina said she hopes to continue to build upon that success, as well as help manage and improve upon other existing marketing programs.

“I want to make a big impact on our GiveLitter™ program and grow our relationships with shelters and cat cafes,” she said.

Having only been in the position for a few weeks, Sabrina said she has thoroughly enjoyed getting to know everyone in the company so far.

“Kent Corporation is known to be a very great company to work for,” she said. “Everyone on the KPG team was so helpful and welcoming during my interview process. I knew KPG was going to be a great company to learn and grow with.”

With a B.A. in Communication Studies and a minor in Public Relations from the University of Northern Iowa, Sabrina went to work as a recruiter for a staffing agency right out of college – an experience she believes helped her professional relationship-building skills that will most certainly apply in her new role at KPG.

Originally from Cedar Rapids, IA, Sabrina said she is most happy when spending time with her friends and family, no matter if it’s going on a trip or just hanging out. While she hasn’t owned a pet since graduating college, Sabrina said she grew up around dogs and hopes to get one in the near future

WELCOME SABRINA!

WE LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING ALL THE GREAT WORK YOU WILL DO!
